As
Nigeria is battling through economic crisis as well as curtailing fraudulent
acts by certain vampires that are sucking the wealth of the nation, the unrest
from the group called Boko Harram is also making Nigeria unstable with many
attacks from this Islamic sect (especially in the Northern region of the
country).
Boro
Haram has suddenly shifted focus to the media section (for reasons justifiable by
them) by attacking one of the Nigeria media houses and threaten do more harms to other media houses if they report news that
are out of context with their views.
After
claiming responsibility for the attack on ThisDay Newspaper, the group said it
would attack more media houses and has restated this threat with a video posted
on YouTube (see below), stating the specific media houses they plan to target. They include
Voice of America (Hausa), Radio France International (Hausa), Punch,
Daily Sun, Vanguard, Guardian, Nation, Tribune, National Accord, Leadership,
Daily Trust, Peoples Daily and Sahara Reporters.
