ROYALTY IN A FOREIGN LAND: KATE ANOLUE CROWN A MAYOR IN UK



Irrespective of your color or race, if you are worthy you are simple worthy and people will know how valuable you are to them and to the society at large. This is a brief story of a Nigerian who is crown a mayor in UK after serving as Deputy Mayor of London Borough of Enfield last year.


 Kate Anolue, the new mayor of London Borough of Enfield, wants to use her tenure to accumulate funds for the E18HTEEN Project which supports teenagers between 16-19 in Enfield, Barnet and Haringey who are about to leave care to lead independent lives. She also promised to support the Sickle Cell Anaemia and Thalassaemia with her fundraising.

Kate a widow with 4 children, who are fully employed, is a registered community/hospital midwife and also a qualified lawyer. She is a Panel Member of Health Scrutiny, Women officer for Labour Party Group and Governor of two schools in Enfield and Vice Chairman Association of British Nigerian Councillors.
