This unique Mercedes was stopping traffic yesterday (Mon) after its owner had it covered in crystals. The diesel Mercedes CLS is thought to be owned by a Russian woman who lives in London. And she has managed to outdo the Arab playboys who drive around the capital by having her car covered in thousands of Swarovski crystals. The Mercedes was parked outside a restaurant on Basil Street, near Harrods in Knightsbridge.

The diesel CLS, with its license plate reading "BAII BYY," truly came alive when day turned into night, and London's lights glistened off the fancy Merc's body. There is no word regarding how much Radionova spent on the transformation (she reportedly used $33,000 worth of faux diamonds), but the Russian-born student did take offense to the Mail saying she paid "just" £25,000 (about $41,000) for the vehicle, stating on her Facebook page that "the car is worth more than 25k."

Apple Staff getting their new Apple Phones

According to Guardian, Apple says it sold more than 10m of its new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus models in the three days after they went on sale on Friday, setting a new record despite the phones not being available in China.

The figure, which includes sales to operators as well to consumers – some of whom queued for days outside the company’s stores around the world – exceeds last year’s, when 9m of the iPhone 5S and 5C were sold, and 2012, when sales were 5m.

However in 2012 and 2013 the first weekend sales were boosted by sales in China, which has the largest number of iPhone users in the world, according to analysts. The government there has not yet approved the new models for sale.

Apple’s chief executive, Tim Cook, said: “Sales for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus exceeded our expectations for the launch weekend, and we couldn't be happier,” and added that “sell-through” – where phones are bought by end customers, rather than by mobile networks – had shattered previous figures “by a large margin”. Apple would be able to measure sell-through based on phone activations, which require the device to contact its servers during setup.

Alex Salmond has announced he will resign just hours after admitting defeat in his battle for Scottish independence, as almost 2million people voted to remain in the United Kingdom. On the worst day of his political life, the First Minister (pictured bottom left speaking in Edinburgh this morning) tried to put a brave face on the electorate's crushing verdict, claiming that it showed only that a majority had decided 'at this stage' not to become an independent country. But with all but one council area declared, No had secured 55 per cent of the vote, a 10-point lead which will trigger speculation about whether Mr Salmond can survive as leader of the Scottish Nationalists.

Boko Haram Blamed As 13 Die In Nigeria College Shooting, Blast

Kano (Nigeria) (AFP) - Boko Haram insurgents have been blamed after at least 13 people died during a shoot-out between police and suspected suicide bombers at a teacher training college in northern Nigeria.

Kano State police commissioner Adelere Shinaba said the "insurgents", ran into the Federal College of Education after exchanging fire with police outside the grounds.

Most of the victims were in a lecture hall inside the Kano college, where the two gunmen opened fire on students.

One student who was having lunch nearby and asked not to be identified, said he saw the gunmen, dressed in black, and heard them shouting for all female students to lie face down.

"They were saying (in pidgin English), 'No be you say Boko Haram no they exist' (Is it not you who say Boko Haram doesn't exist?)," he added.

As shooting started, police opened fire and the explosives vest of one of the gunmen detonated. The other was shot dead, according to Shinaba.

"They were obviously suicide bombers," said Shinaba. "One of our officers shot at one of the gunmen and the explosives on him went off, killing him on the spot," he told AFP.

"Another gunman was also killed. Thirteen people were killed by the gunmen and 34 others have been taken to hospital with injuries."

MUST READ! Through The Valley Of The Shadow Of Death…Dr. Ada Igonoh survived Ebola

This story was culled from Bellanaija with the need to educate and spread the news regarding the killing virus called Ebola. This is a story of triumph over this deadly virus and survival of the affected person with assistance of Lagos State government.
It is a long read but definitely worth reading as Dr. Ada details her experience. It’s a really gripping read which shows the story of strength, faith and dedication. We are grateful to Ada for sharing her story with us.

On the night of Sunday July 20, 2014, Patrick Sawyer was wheeled into the Emergency Room at First Consultants Medical Centre, Obalende, Lagos, with complaints of fever and body weakness. The male doctor on call admitted him as a case of malaria and took a full history. Knowing that Mr Sawyer had recently arrived from Liberia, the doctor asked if he had been in contact with an Ebola patient in the last couple of weeks, and Mr. Sawyer denied any such contact. He also denied attending any funeral ceremony recently. Blood samples were taken for full blood count, malaria parasites, liver function test and other baseline investigations. He was admitted into a private room and started on antimalarial drugs and analgesics. That night, the full blood count result came back as normal and not indicative of infection.

The following day however, his condition worsened. He barely ate any of his meals. His liver function test result showed his liver enzymes were markedly elevated. We then took samples for HIV and hepatitis screening.
At about 5.00pm, he requested to see a doctor. I was the doctor on call that night so I went in to see him. He was lying in bed with his intravenous (I.V.) fluid bag removed from its metal stand and placed beside him. He complained that he had stooled about five times that evening and that he wanted to use the bathroom again. I picked up the I.V. bag from his bed and hung it back on the stand. I told him I would inform a nurse to come and disconnect the I.V. so he could conveniently go to the bathroom. I walked out of his room and went straight to the nurses’ station where I told the nurse on duty to disconnect his I.V. I then informed my Consultant, Dr. Ameyo Adadevoh about the patient’s condition and she asked that he be placed on some medications.

Prince Harry At 30

There are three Prince Harrys. There is the army one: Captain Wales of the Blues and Royals, the Apache helicopter pilot with two tours of Afghanistan under his belt. There is the royal: a balcony-waving ambassador and walkabout veteran, currently fourth in line and "spare to the heir". Then there's the social Harry: pretty rich, very posh and immensely privileged.

At times the personas have got mixed up with calamitous results. "Too much army and not enough prince," he wryly acknowledged after camera phone pictures of him naked at a private booze-fuelled strip billiards party in Las Vegas, surfaced.

The Harry we have seen instead is the champion of wounded service personnel and energy behind the forthcoming Invictus Games for those physically and mentally scarred while serving Queen and country.

Largest Crocodile In Captivity

The largest crocodile in the world in captivity stretches 18 feet long, weighs 2,200 pounds, is an estimated 111 years old, goes by the name of Cassius (as in Cassius Clay), and would probably eat its owner if given the chance.

George Craig, 84, is the owner who has been feeding Cassius for 27 years at his Australian sanctuary on Green Island in the Great Barrier Reef. But the former crocodile hunter, referred to as the real-life Crocodile Dundee, knows it would bite the hand that feeds it.

“George likes to feed Cassius personally and after [nearly] 30 years of being his caretaker, he does have a soft spot for Cassius,” Billy Craig, George’s grandson, told Caters News Agency. “Cassius is aware of who George is, but there are no illusions that he would eat him if he had the chance, without a doubt.

Tears Of Oscar Pistorius As He Is CLEARED of MURDER

In a sensational ruling, the Paralympian broke down in tears as the judge found him not guilty of murder and pre-meditated murder. Pistorius had been accused of deliberately shooting the 30-year-old model (inset) during a furious row at his Pretoria home on Valentine's Day last year. But he had always maintained - often through wails of despair during his six-week trial - that he shot the law graduate in self-defence after mistaking her for an intruder. Judge Thokozile Masipa has yet to decide on a lesser charge of culpable homicide - similar to manslaughter.

Final verdict proceeds tomorrow

Justin Bieber ripped off all his clothes, except for his Calvin Klein boxers, during Tuesday night's "Fashion Rocks" event in Brooklyn -- but flashing his bod and ego nearly backfired.

Biebs was on stage with model Lara Stone to introduce Rita Ora, when he decided to strip down. You can hear boos start to rain down at first, but the more naked he got ... the more the screaming chicks started to win out.

Justin tweeted after the show, "Grandma always said kill 'em with kindness...and then strip on live national tv. Lol."

Thanks for nothing, Granny.

Up to 80 Footballing Countries Hit By Match-fixing In A Year: Interpol

Between 60 and 80 countries have reported allegations of Match-fixing for each of the last three years, the head of the Interpol-Fifa initiative set up to fight the crime said on Wednesday.

John Abbott, who is also leading Interpol's and FIFA's fight against irregular betting, told delegates at the Soccerex Global Convention that far tougher legislation is needed worldwide to fight the crime.

"It is a global problem and it is showing no signs of abating.

"Match-fixing itself is not new, a Liverpool-Manchester United game was fixed in the early years of the 20th century, but the really big change is that professional criminals have got involved for fraud purposes.

"We have evidence of organised crime groups in China, Russia, the Balkans, the United States and Italy making substantial money.

If you think you are hopeless then wait till you see this

Sometime we should take a good reflection of our life and value what we have as a person
The breathe, The good Health and The Life we still have
If we look at our situations we are likely better than many around the world
We are even positioned to assist others that are helpless
A little assistance or help today can go a long way to touch and change someone's life

Joan Rivers: Write This On My Tombstone ...

She had a great Time
Joan Rivers spoke prophetically about what she wanted on her tombstone one month ago -- and the words she chose were classic Joan.

She was at LAX back in August when a photographer -- with whom she clearly had a good relationship -- jokingly asked about her health ... and what she would want her epitaph to say.

Check it out ... it's simple, honest -- and no one could possibly argue against it.

She had a great Time......on her Tombstone
R.I.P. to one of the greats.

Joan Rivers -- who made the world laugh for over 50 years with her jokes, put-downs and one-liners -- has died in NYC ... a week after her heart suddenly stopped beating during vocal cord surgery.

She was 81.

Joan's daughter Melissa Rivers took her mom off life support so she could pass comfortably in a private room.

The death has been reported to the NYC Medical Examiner's Office -- and officials tell TMZ the office will open an investigation to determine cause of death.

Melissa just issued a statement saying, "It is with great sadness that I announce the death of my mother, Joan Rivers."
"She passed peacefully at 1:17 PM surrounded by family and close friends. My son and I would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Mount Sinai hospital for the amazing care they provided for my mother."

The journalist, Steven Joel Sotloff, was beheaded in a video made public by SITE Intel Group, which monitors jihadist organizations. The video surfaced days after Sotloff’s mother pleaded with the leader of ISIS for mercy.

Boko Haram Takes Over Bama

Reports emerging from Bama, in Borno State, indicate that Boko Haram militants have taken over control of the city.
The state’s second-largest city was attacked earlier today by the militants.  That first attack was initially repelled by Nigerian troops, but the militants appear to have returned in greater force, leading some of the soldiers to follow fleeing civilians in an effort to escape.
Residents are saying tonight that Boko Haram has completely overrun the city and hoisted its flag in the city center.

A Nigeria military statement credited to General Chris Olukolade didn’t offer much hope for Bama, as the terse statement merely stated that the attack on Bama was “being repelled.”

Manchester United complete loan move for Colombian striker
Falcao has scored 20 goals in 51 international appearances for Colombia
Striker also scored 52 goals in 68 games for Atletico Madrid whilst in Spain

'Falcao's signing is some statement of intent by United, and it's some financial commitment for a loan deal.

'Apart from the loan fee, the Colombia striker's wage is an area of interest. As reported here, it's £200,000 a week. But, and it's a big but, is that net or gross?

'Juventus did their utmost to tie him up on a season-long loan and negotiated long and hard with Monaco, in an attempt to get them to pay part of his sky-high earnings.
