Mario Balotelli has insisted that he wants to become a
'legend' after this summer's World Cup
The Milan striker is
widely seen as being the focal point of the Azzurri attack for the tournament
in Brazil .
And the controversial forward has claimed the he hopes to
wipe away the tabloid fodder and do his talking on the pitch.
"People will always want to talk about Mario,"
he told the Sunday Mail. "they will always want to write about Mario.
"I'm used to that now. But for me, it's time to make
people talk about what I'm doing on the pitch.
"I want to be one of the best players in the world,
and usually all the legends are born at the World Cup.
I am absolutely convinced that Italy can win this tournament. I'm
a realist and I know that maybe there are one or two teams that may be
stronger.
"But I know with our quality we can beat anyone in
the world"
