An unfortunate driver spent £920,000 on a luxury supercar –
only to crash and ruin it just minutes later.
These dramatic pictures show how the rare Ferrari was left
totally wrecked after the crash in Budapest.
The driver bought the rare and highly sought after
LaFerrari’s in the Hungarian city but is thought to have lost control of the
car and hit four others parked on the side of the road.
The moment was caught on film by local photographer Akos
Moldvan on Saturday October 31. He said: “The driver didn’t say much and hasn’t
really been under much of stress after the crash – he lit up a cigar while he
was taking out the cover for the car from the trunk.
“The car slipped out of control when the owner tried to
suddenly accelerate.
The
owner blamed the tires being cold for having no grip.
“The extent of the damage to the car, worth £920,000, is
unknown but the car was covered and transported away immediately after the
incident.
Ferrari only built 499 LaFerraris and this is the fourth
known crash involving any of the collectable supercars.
The driver is thought to have been an Italian national.
