NIGERIAN GUYS SET GAMBIA ABLAZE WITH LOVE & SHOW OF WELL-HEELED

Nigerians are known for their domineering personalities, that is, leadership personality that flows naturally in their blood streams and bone marrows.
Wherever they are they make their presence felt and establish recognitions with their winning attitude, lifestyle and personal relationship. They are
not shy to express their feelings either vocally or money wise. They are known for hard work and Eldorado life style without shying away from work, parties and prodigal life style. Generally, Blacks around the world are known for living affluent life as compared to other Ethnics; however, Nigerians are exceptionally affluent in nature and domineering than any race on the
surface of earth.  Nigerians are not only the biggest spender in UK they also spend affluently all over the world.

These Nigerian guys (whose names were withheld) not only set the city of Gambia agog but created impacts that will forever remain fresh and unforgettable in the minds of the Gambians for the brief periods they stayed in Gambia. On their arrival on Wednesday at the Gambia airport the immigration officers noted the differences in these visitors and acknowledge that these people are not just the typical tourists that frequent Gambia. They are all in Gambia for one common goal....to honor their friend's wedding and enjoy their leisure time. Indeed, they got more than just the wedding. On their arrival at the airport, there awaited them chauffeurs from their various hotels (they stayed in Coco Ocean, Sheraton, SunSwing Beach Resort and other reputable resorts ) so as to settle in before the night activities.

The Wednesday’s night was their first night in Gambia and was one of the most remarkable nights they had while there. They started from an ocean view bar where the owner of this joint was surprised with the nature of requests they made. He said: We don’t sell this type of expensive drinks in bottle at a go but in shot and I can’t believe you are requesting for the whole bottle and not just a single bottle. He showed his gratitude by adding extra Canaberry drinks to what were bought by the guys. Majority of the Gambian girls in this bar left on the party train with the guys to the club called Aquarius.

As they entered this club, the form of music in the club changed for the DJ acknowledged their presence and instantly 9ja music (Nigeria Music, which apparently is dominating the entertainment industry of Gambia) was in the air and all the white people in the house stepped aside for it was a game beyond their capacities and control. The other Gambian girls were all on the phones whispering to other girls: Nigerian boys are in the club come and enjoy yourself, babe. Before a twinkle of an eye, the once emptied club became so crowded with so much celebration in the air and other people joined in the excitement (I mean the White, Gambians, Jamaicans and other foreigners joined in the fun).
Once amazing thing about the guys is that wherever they visit the owner of the club, bar or inn always follows them to their next point of hang out. They were well acknowledged by the hoteliers, the cab operators in this country especially the cabs meant for tourists as they have standby and special cab guys like Sam and Skinny (dedicated for 24 hrs services to the Nigerians). Unlike their counterparts from UK and United States the Nigerian guys steal the show in Gambia and earn all the respects one can think of.

Among the celebrated Nigerian Artists in Gambia city are D’Banj, P square and Davido, but Davido (E Ma Dami Duro) song stand out among all these musicians as the crowd always echo and shout aloud when this music is being played even when they no little or nothing as the lyrics and meanings of the song.  These guys party from Wednesday to Saturday before their departure on Sunday after. To say the least, the business activities within the city boomed while they were among with their exceptional spending and Gambia still look forward to the return of these Nigerians in the nearest future.

I am certain Lasgidilife will still be invited once again when any of these guys have special occasion in the smiling coast of Africa called ‘Gambia’
Below is that music that is not only appreciated at home but also in Gambia:
