DUKE & DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE ARRIVED AT NEWHOME WITH CHARLOTTE & GEORGE

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have arrived at their new home, Anmer Hall in Norfolk (top left), after travelling from Kensington Palace with four-day-old Princess Charlotte and 21-month Prince George earlier today. The royal couple, who yesterday registered the birth of Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, arrived at a side entrance of the ten-bedroom country retreat on the Queen's estate in Sandringham, away from the eye's of waiting photographers. William and Kate headed out of London today in their Range Rover (pictured right and bottom left), driven by the Duke, in what was Princess Charlotte's first outing since leaving hospital.

They will now spend the first few weeks of the princess's life in their refurbished Georgian mansion as they get to grips with looking after both a newborn and a toddler. They are then expected to base themselves at the spacious bolt-hole over the coming years, where they will be able to bring up their children in idyllic seclusion.

William is on paternity leave from his job as an air ambulance helicopter pilot and is expected to start the final phase of his training at the beginning of June.
