Whoever
wrote the article below regarding Mariah Carey and her performance in Nigeria must be
a racist. The writer is without knowledge of what is going on in his/her
country as compare to what is happening in Nigeria . America as they claim is not God’s
own nation because of the level of crimes and atrocities going daily in this
country especially among the youth. A country that anyone can wake up in a day
and takes the live of the innocent ones or school children and left untouched.
A country where guns and ammunition are encouraged and embraced.
Why
will a man in his/her right sense be criticizing an entertainer that is well accepted
all over the world for performing in a country that appreciates her talent and
songs? Should Mariah Carey be discriminating about which country she can and
cannot perform for? How many American artistes have performed alive in Nigeria without
any problem? Why this negative comments about Nigeria
and not America ?
Which country is without blemish, crime, corruption, terrorism, scammers or bad
leadership?
Who
invented terrorism with the invention of gun and other weapons of war? You
invented terrorism with the advent of guns and other weapon of mass destruction
and you now turn to Africa as been involved in
terrorism.
Who
used Africans to get to where you are today? The sweat of our great ancestors
built your nations to the standards they are presently. Without their enslavement
you will still be developing. I think is high time you pay for this instead of
sitting down at the corner of your room writing the unimaginable.
You
started slavery (the human trafficking market) and you are now pointing to Nigeria as the
hub of human. Those slaves you trafficked with chains and hand-cuffs all over
them was that migration or human trafficking?
You
introduced money as means of exchange and disregard trade by barter that
existed in Nigeria so as to amass
her natural resources and thereby introduced the element (money) that led to
the beginning of corruption in Nigeria .
Where
are the money stolen from Nigeria
stocked? The money that you know were gotten through ill-means and corruption are
accepted overseas in Swiss Bank, Barclay Banks, America Banks and other banks. Yet
you continuously sing the song of not being corrupt.
Please
return all the ill-gotten money saved in your banks to Africa
and discourages them from stacking their nations’ wealth in your bank by
following due diligence instead of egocentrism.
Who
is then the bigger thief? Who is then more corrupt? Who is then logically
enslaving other countries because they have natural resources such as oil and
gas?
What
is united in United States
or United Nations?
Radar
staff should find better means of educating the world rather pointing figures
of negative things and events in a country that is not theirs.

Mariah
Carey proudly posted a pic of herself in a slinky yellow dress and wrote,
“Backstage in Nigeria ”
on Saturday.
But
maybe the songbird should have done some homework before agreeing to the gig?
Her
show was at Access Bank’s Christmas Party which was also a farewell bash for
the bank’s managing director.
And
while Access Bank is a reputable financial institution, should Carey have known
a few basics about the African nation before taking the paycheck?
Ironically
— given that she was performing for bankers — it seems Carey wasn’t aware Nigeria is
well-known as the center of the world’s email financial crimes! Nigeria is even
part of the name — as in “Nigerian 411 Scams.”
AND,
just for good measure, there are mass killings going on in two Nigerian states
right now, and according to Human Rights Watch, the violence is being ignored
by federal authorities.
“Systemic
corruption in the Nigeria Police Force” is the problem, a HRW spokesperson told
CNN.
Carey
isn’t the first performer who has taken a paycheck for appearing in countries
known for terror, death and fraud.
In
2011, BeyoncĂ© sang for Moammar Gadhafi’s sons and Jennifer Lopez performed in Turkmenistan . (Who
criticize them?)
