THE MAKING OF A NEW KORO

The Making Of A New Koro
Not only politically inclined but versatile, Adeyemi is an individual that is adored within the management circle especially in the banking industry where he is making immeasurable impacts on a daily basis. Otunba Adeyemi Shokunbi, an indigene of Ogun State comes from a family with working history in the banking institution where his late father was once a staff in one of the Nigerian Banks, 1st Bank before he retired as an AGM.
Adeyemi is a graduate of Lagos State University with Computer Mathematics as his specialization. After his dedicated services (NYSC) to the mother-land Nigeria he pursued his career by following the footsteps of other members of his family who were already seasoned bankers. He started with the then Continental Trust Bank before moving to the present bank where he works in Group Information Management System Unit. Before his present unit, he was once the head of operation at the branch level. A position he held distinguishably with all required accomplishments.

Politically, the present Nigeria needs people who have been privilege to work and lead in private enterprises to administer and manage processes, activities, protocols and governance in public sectors. Koro as he is popularly called is a guy who in the nearest future will add value to the phase of political arena based on his accumulated wealth of experience and attainment.
As we await his metamorphosis into the Nigerian politics we will continue to monitor this Otunba with a distinct.

  3. Koro is an entrepreneurial strategist whose demeanor suggests a well fed lion that can become hungry at any time.
His business acumen coupled with his interpersonal and diplomatic skills will certainly take him places.

His hand is already in many (business/political) pies and in the blink of an eye, I’ll certainly invest my resources in any new scheme he decides to go into.

  4. Hey.

Koro, please note that politics is serving humanity and this cannot be done with the energy of the flesh.

therefore, you need divinity to serve humanity in this part of the world.

Wishing you all the best and daily ask for divine direction because that is the only guaranty to your distinction.

    see you there.

    Glory Regards,
    Champion

  8. Koro is an epitome of courageous warrior that is ready to surmount any obstacle in his way. A result-oriented fellow that can go the extra mile to ensure that the job is well delivered.
He belongs to the generation that can move the political pedestal of this country to the desired level. His wealth of experience in the banking industry and the business world at large will come in handy in this regard.

My only advice is that the "G" (i.e the "God") factor must be the constant in his political equation. With this in place, sky will not only be his limit but his beginning. Ride on Koro!!!

I am glad that the 'Koro' of our generation is joining the Big league. Like one of the commentators wrote, leadership is about service to the people. Therefore, you must bear this in mind as you proceed to actualize your dreams. I have no doubt that, with God by your side, you will do well....ENDORSED!!!

  10. A leader is someone who has great vision and is dedicated to serving his people. Yemi has both of those qualities.

If he should apply one tenth of the focus and dedication that I have seen him apply in his construction projects to the affairs of a nation, I look forward to seeing what his future holds.

With the humility, strength and faith he displays Koro has what it takes to whip up general support and get things done!

May God be the your guide, anchor, and promoter. Best of luck

  21. The comments on this blog indicate that people believe you can deliver.
My sincere wishes for you are that you always keep true to your desire to serve the people.
Service will demand from you; it will demand great sacrifices.

I will leave you with a few quotes:

    1. Political authority exists to promote the common good.

    2. The common good refers to “the sum total of social conditions which allow people, either as groups or as individuals, to reach their fulfilment more fully and more easily”.

    3. "The common good of society is not an end in itself; it has value only in reference to attaining the ultimate ends of the person and the universal common good of the whole of creation".

I wish you the very best.

What makes a good political leader?
Could it be one that portrays power, intelligence, dignity, humility, grace and humour. One that fits the mood not only of their own populace, but that of the world. One that has the fortitude to tackle the hard situations with fervence and integrity, despite the whinging antics of any opposition when it is obvious it is in the best interests of the people they represent. Could it be one that tackles well the fiscal policies of the country and encourages growth and confidence in the community and the standing in the eyes of the world. Adeyemi "KORO" be a good subject? Affirmed!!!
