Game Of Thrones Stars' Salaries Are Unveiled

A new report from Hollywood trade magazine Variety has revealed that Game Of Thrones' British stars Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington and Lena Headey are each earning an eye-watering $500,000 for each episode of HBO's ratings juggernaut.

Interestingly, the big unveiling - which also shows co-stars Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Peter Dinklage picking up the same hefty wage - also reveals that there's no gender pay gap between the stars, standing in contrast to the BBC's recent scandal.

The five actors, who have been a part of the popular fantasy drama since it first aired in 2011, sit at the top of the pile of the show's big earners.

MailOnline has contacted a representative for TV network HBO for comment.

Game Of Thrones, whose seventh season finale is set to air on Sunday, currently shows Kit's Jon Snow joining forces with Emilia's Mother of Dragons Daenerys to take on Lena's sinister and ruthless Cersei as their battle for the throne comes to a head.

Danish Nikolaj appears on the show as Cersei's brother and incestuous lover Jaime Lannister, while American Peter plays the pair's outcast brother Tyrion Lannister.

Variety's list also includes the hefty earnings of a number of other big names on different dramas, including Homeland's Claire Danes ($450,000 per episode) and House Of Cards' Kevin Spacey ($500,000 per episode).

The biggest earner of all is Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro, who is set to earn a remarkable $775,000 per episode for his as-yet-untitled Amazon drama series, set to be helmed by acclaimed director David O. Russell.

GoT stars Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner recently showed that they plenty to sing about as they got nostalgic during their episode of Carpool Karaoke: The Series, quoting lyrics from Sir Mix-A-Lot's Baby's Got Back as their show's late Ned Stark.

And while neither Sophie, 21, who plays Sansa Stark, or Maisie, 20, plays Arya Stark, had been born when the 1992 hit was released, the screen sisters did a brilliant job of deadpanning lines in the style of the late lord of Winterfell, played by Sean Bean.

'Oh my God, Becky, look at her butt,' said the blonde beauty Sophie, spurring Maisie to riff on her words with equal humour and enthusiasm, adding: 'O-M-G Becky, look at her butt! What the f*** is going on with her butt!'

The co-stars continued playing on another's words, bursting out into laughter as they clearly fed off one another.

Earlier in the segment, Maisie introduced the hilarious bit in telling Sophie, 'I'm gonna give you a little sentence, right. And then you gotta say it, like you was in Game of Thrones!'

Sophie kicked off in reciting a line from 1994's The Lion King: 'Hakuna Matata - what a wonderful phrase; Hakuna Matata - ain't no passing craze.'

The young starlets filmed the segment earlier this year when they attended the South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas this past March.
