VAMPIRE SERIES: JONATHAN SPENDS N3.3 BILLION ON FOREIGN TRIPS

When it comes to spending the nation’s wealth, our so called leaders (vampires that are sucking the nation’s wealth) see it as their right to spend extravagantly the collective wealth without consideration for the poverty level of the nation they are serving.

They budget for things that are not part of what visionary leaders should be spending on and multiply the amount in geometric ways (amounts that can never be earned by them in years to come).

Imagine the Nigeria President that was of the opinion that political office holders are spending heavily on overseas travels, spent N3.3 billion naira on overseas trips alone. This particular amount (N3.3 billion) used to be a year budget for this nation before. In his prodigal manner, he traveled around with his entourage to different destinations in Africa, Europe, Asia, North America, South America, United States, France, Uganda, Australia, Ghana, Chad, Equatorial Guinea and Ethiopia among others.

Jonathan had said in a national broadcast in January, “I have directed that overseas travels by all political office-holders, including the President, should be reduced to the barest minimum. The size of delegations on foreign trips will also be drastically reduced; only trips that are absolutely necessary will be approved.”

However, the same President who supposes to lead by example spent the huge amount of his Nation’s wealth on trips around the world.
