Jenner made the new claim about her supposedly hands-off approach to editing in a revealing declaration that she filed as part of an effort to have a defamation lawsuit that was filed against her and her children by Robert Kardashian‘s widow, Ellen Kardashian, thrown out of a Los Angeles court.

In the document, Jenner protested that after episodes of their E! show are filmed and edited, the family provides “comments and suggestions” to producers at Bunim-Murray Productions, Inc., but she insisted that they are not “responsible” for the editing.

“I hold the title of President of Jenner Communications, Inc.,” Jenner asserts in the text.

FG CONDEMNS ASUU’S NEW DEMANDS

ABUJA — The Federal Government, yesterday, condemned the new conditions which Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, insists must be met before the five-month old strike could be called off.

The three conditions were payment of four months salaries, which accumulated during the period of the strike; immediate implementation of the N1.2 trillion offered by the government to public universities, starting with the release of N100 billion this year and the balance of N1.1 trillion to be spread over five years from 2014.

The union also demanded that the salary arrears must not be paid in piecemeal.

N3 BILLION JIGAWA MONEY TRACED TO SULE LAMIDO’S SONS ACCOUNT

A whooping N3 billion Subsidy Reinvestment Programme (SURE-P) money allocated to Jigawa state government have been traced to the personal accounts owned and operated by the of sons and cronies of the embattled Jigawa State Governor Alhaji Sule Lamido.

Two of the Lamido’s sons, Aliyu and Mustapha, are presently before the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for an alleged fraud to the tune of N11 billion.

JIMOH IBRAHIM ARRESTED OVER N6.8 BILLION TAX FRAUD

Saharareporters just learned that the Special Enforcement  Unit of Federal Inland Revenue Service has arrested shady businessman, Jimoh Ibrahim, over a tax fraud that runs into N6.8 billion.

Sources within the unit told Saharareporters that Mr. Ibrahim was picked up today and is currently under detention at the offices of the agency.

According to one source, “We are investigating a case where Chief Ibrahim, defrauded the federal government to the tune of N6.8 billion.

He is in our custody, we  intend to take a statement from the suspect under caution”, he added.

One of our sources said Mr. Mr. Ibrahim have been evading agents of the unit for some time but disclosed that the eventually caught up with him in his hotel room in NICON Luxury Hotel where he was arrested this afternoon in Abuja.

INDIA WILL OVERTAKE US IN INTERNET USAGE BY 2014

Rural India has witnessed a growth of 58% of active Internet users since June 2012.

The number of Internet users in India has reached 205 million in October this year and by June 2014, India will have 243 million internet users, at which point of time, it is expected to overtake the US as the second largest Internet base in the world, cites a report in the Internet and Mobile association of India.

According to the report, the number of internet users in urban India was 137 Million in October and is estimated to touch 141 Million by December 2013.

Interestingly, rural India has witnessed a growth of 58% of active Internet users since June 2012. China takes the first spot with 300 million users, while the US takes the second spot with 207 million connected people.

MAN CAUGHT ON CAMERA DRUGGING AND RAPING A DOG

A California man was arrested Thursday and charged with drugging and raping a dog multiple times.

Christopher Alexander Caceres, 22, of San Pedro, was caught on surveillance footage drugging and performing sex acts on the helpless dog for hours.

Security footage obtained by the San Pedro Beacon shows the pervert committing his depraved acts on the 80-pound Akita while the poor pooch’s owners slept only yards away.

Mr Caceres faces a litany of charges including burglary, sexual deviance, bestiality and rape of a dog, but more charges are likely to come, according to the Beacon.

‘It’s inhumane, I don’t even know what to say about it,’ the dog’s owner told the Daily Breeze. ‘I had never even thought of something like that happening. I know his grandmother very well. She has three little dogs.’

The homeowner told the Daily Breeze that several weeks ago he began hearing the dog make a ‘huge yelp-like shriek like she never made before.'

The man had also previously found a lighter and a cell phone in his backyard, said reports.

The dog made the same noise again a few weeks later and the owner found a cell phone on the ground and noticed his gate open, he recalled.

He then installed security camera and awoke last Sunday to large clumps of hair all over his backyard and even more disturbing actions caught on camera.

‘Our dog greeted me and something seemed off,’ the man told the Beacon. ‘I didn’t know what had happened, but I saw clumps of our dog’s hair throughout the yard.’

‘I immediately went to the surveillance cameras, and I was absolutely disgusted with what I saw.’

PLANE CRASH KILLS 44 PASSENGERS, 6 CREW

A Russian plane originating from Moscow has crashed at the airport in Kazan, reportedly killing all 50 people on board.

A spokeswoman for the Emergencies Ministry, Irina Rossius, said there were 44 passengers and six crew members aboard.

Tatarstan Airlines flight 363 originated from Moscow's Domodedovo airport and was due to land in Kazan.

The plane, a Boeing 737, was reportedly on its second landing attempt when it crashed and caught fire. According to Russian news agencies, the plane's nose hit the runway during the attempted landing.

Witnesses reported a blast as the plane landed.

NIGERIA EAGLETS BEAT SWEDEN 3-0 FOR A PLACE AT THE FINAL STAGE

Nigeria Golden Eaglets has finally confirmed their superiority over Sweden by beating the Scandinavian team 3-0 to secure their position at the final stage of the ongoing U17 FIFA World Cup.

Before the today’s victory by the Eaglets, the two teams played 3-3 draw in their first match at the group stage. However, the Eaglets are the sole surviving team from Africa in the competition. Other Africa teams have been kicked out of the competion leaving Nigeria as the only remaining Africa flag bearer.

Before the match, the Nigeria coach was very optimistic about his team delivering the necessary victory to see them to the Final stage.

MARIJUANA MARKET POISED TO GROW FASTER THAN SMARTPHONES

Legal marijuana is among the fastest-growing markets in the United States, and it's growing at a rate poised to outpace the expansion of the global smartphone market, according to a new report obtained exclusively by The Huffington Post.

Researchers surveyed hundreds of medical cannabis retailers, processors, dispensary owners and industry leaders over the course of six months this year, and estimated that more than $1.43 billion worth of legal marijuana will be sold in 2013. The report also predicts that figure to grow by 64 percent to $2.34 billion next year. By comparison, recent figures show the U.S. smartphone market expanded by 46 percent from 2012 to 2013.

PREGNANT WIFE BRUTALLY STABBED WHILE VIDEO-CHATTING WITH SOLDIER HUSBAND

A soldier stationed overseas watched in horror as his pregnant wife was stabbed in her home while the two chatted on video.

Rachel Poole, 31, was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after a man who was allegedly hiding in the home stabbed her multiple times in Texas on Wednesday. Poole was nine months pregnant at the time. Police say Corey Bernard Moss stabbed Poole from behind with a stainless steel knife, according to KFOX.

During the attack, her husband, Justin Pele Poole, an American soldier stationed thousands of miles away in Asia, saw the attack unfold as the two talked over FaceTime, according to ABC15.

Poole was still in critical condition when her baby, Isabella, was born. Doctors performed a successful cesarean section, her stepfather, Gary Jones, told ABCNews.com. The baby is listed in good condition.

Police Det. Mike Baranyay told CNN that the woman recognized her attacker andrepeatedly screamed his name to her husband.

Poole managed to call authorities. A short time later, the suspect, 19-year-old Corey Bernard Moss, was located by Fort Bliss Military Police and turned over to El Paso police. Detectives said the suspect was inside Poole’s house before she came home.
