The global philanthropist was asked in an online Reddit "Ask Me Anything" chat on Wednesday if there was anything in his life that he regretted.

"I feel pretty stupid that I don't know any foreign languages," the 59-year-old replied.

"I took Latin and Greek in high school and got As and I guess it helps my vocabulary but I wish I knew French or Arabic or Chinese.

Punch News – The Federal Government on Wednesday said the five-year tenure of Prof. Chukwuma Soludo as the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria was a disaster to the banking sector.

While the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, described Soludo’s criticism of the management of the economy under President Goodluck Jonathan as “intellectual hara-kiri,” a former Minister of Education, Dr. Obiageli Ezekwesili, called for a public debate by all parties on the actual state of the economy.

Similarly, a faction of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum led by Governor Jonah Jang of Plateau State described as illusionary and attention-seeking, Soludo’s recent article on the state of the economy.

Soludo, who was the CBN governor between May 2004 and May 2009, had on Monday written an article in which he claimed that the Nigerian economy under Jonathan had performed woefully.

While reacting to the article, Okonjo-Iweala through a statement issued by her Special Adviser on Communications, Mr. Paul Nwabuikwu, said not only was it littered with abusive and unbecoming language, it showed Soludo, whom she described as an “embittered loser in the Nigerian political space,” could get so derailed by misquoting economic facts and maliciously turning statistics on their head to justify a hatchet job.

Reacting to Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola’s tax indictment on Jimi Agbaje, the Peoples Democraic Party gubernatorial candidate, the Director, Media and Publicity, Jimi Agbaje Campaign Organisation, Mr. Felix Oboagwina, said Agbaje had been commended by the Commissioner for Finance, Ayo Gbeleyi, for paying the Land Use Charge on his residence and wondered why the government was bringing up the matter less than a month to the elections

He added that it was irresponsible for any politician seeking public office to evade tax and still claim to be a law-abiding citizen.

Buhari Certificate Saga: Cambridge University Makes New Revelations

PREMIUM TIMES – The University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate, UCLES, now Cambridge Assessment, has provided further details on the West African School Certificate, WASC, results presented by Muhammadu Buhari, the candidate of the All Progressives Candidate in the February 14 presidential election.

In a new post on its website, the university confirmed result grades for the examination in 1961 were issued in numbers, not letters, as suggested by critics of Mr. Buhari who have dismissed the results he presented as fabricated.

According to Cambridge, “Examination results were classed in grades from 1 to 9”.

“1, 2,3,4,5 & 6 indicate a Pass with Credit; 7 & 8 indicate a Pass; 9 indicate a Failure,” the school said.

Results tendered by Mr. Buhari shows he had credits in English Language, Geography, Health Science, Hausa Language; failed in Mathematics and Woodwork, and had a pass in Literature in English.

In its post, Cambridge said for candidates to qualify for its certificate in 1961, they needed to pass English, and not necessarily Mathematics.

“To pass the School Certificate, candidates had to pass examinations in a variety of groups. It was compulsory to pass English Language, but not Maths, in order to gain the Certificate,” the university said.

The details followed intense controversy over whether Mr. Buhari, a former Head of State and retired Army General, completed his secondary education.

The Nigerian constitution requires any candidate running for the office of the President to have at least the Senior Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent.

The ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the campaign office of President Goodluck Jonathan accuse Mr. Buhari of lacking the requisite qualification for the office of the president.

Mr. Buhari, who ran for president in 2003, 2007 and 2011, repeatedly declared that copies of his academic records were with the military.

On Tuesday, President Obama and the First Lady attended the funeral of Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah, a renowned misogynistic leader who oversaw some of the harshest and most oppressive conditions endured by women anywhere in the world.

These conditions included and still include bans on voting and driving. When going out in public, women must be accompanied by a male relative and are expected to cover their heads and faces because modesty or whatever. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud ( 1 August 1924 – 22 January 2015) was the King of Saudi Arabia and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques from 2005 to 2015. He ascended to the throne on 1 August 2005 upon the death of his half-brother, King Fahd. According to Forbes, in 2013, Abdullah was among the world's most powerful people, and was ranked 8th globally.

Abdullah, like Fahd, was one of the many sons of Ibn Saud, the founder of modern Saudi Arabia. Abdullah held important political posts throughout most of his adult life. In 1961 he became mayor of Mecca, his first public office. And, in 1962, he was appointed commander of the Saudi Arabian National Guard, a post he was still holding when he became king. He also served as deputy defense minister and was named crown prince when Fahd took the throne in 1982. After King Fahd suffered a serious stroke in 1995, Abdullah became the de facto ruler of Saudi Arabia until ascending the throne a decade later.

A Nigerian mother allowed a British couple to register as her new baby's parents in bid to get free NHS care and secure a UK passport for the child, a court heard.

Oluwaseun Adenubi, 30, also pleaded guilty to fraud by false representation after using the passport of her friend, Rita Ogunkunle, 32, to obtain free medical care after giving birth to Moses.

Ogunkunle and her boyfriend Michael Adebambo, 46, registered the baby as theirs at Bromley Civic Centre the following day and have now pleaded guilty to giving false information.

Staff at Farnborough's Princess Royal University Hospital realised the medical records of Ogunkunle, who had received acne treatment, conflicted with the patient claiming to be her.

A man has been arrested, charged and convicted of being a public nuisance, after he undressed in front of a lesbian woman in an attempt to cure her homosexuality, prosecutors in the United Kingdom have said. The Leicester Crown Court has sentenced 28-year-old Joseph Bater, to 12 months probation Police investigations revealed that Bater began chatting with the victim who was smoking a cigarette with two friends outside a bar on Granby Street at 8:30 p.m.

Bater then approached the woman and told her that he was attracted to her, but she said that she was not interested because she is gay. Bater, who was drunk at the time, decided to convert the woman, by dropping his pants and exposing himself to her.

“But a lawyer is the Commissioner for Works in Edo State and he has constructed several roads. In Ogun State, the Commissioner for Works is an architect and he has built several roads. So, let’s ask Sambo, the vice president, what has he done for the nation.

Before and after images of two neighbouring towns, Baga (160 kilometres from Maiduguri) and Doron Baga (also known as Doro Gowon, 2.5 km from Baga), taken on 2 and 7 January show the devastating effect of the attacks which left over 3,700 structures damaged or completely destroyed. Other nearby towns and villages were also attacked over this period.

“These detailed images show devastation of catastrophic proportions in two towns, one of which was almost wiped off the map in the space of four days,” said Daniel Eyre, Nigeria researcher for Amnesty International.

Man Kills Brother Over Soup

The police in Benin have arrested a 57-year-old man, Sunday Osemwekhe, for allegedly killing his half-brother with machete over a local soup called owoh.

The suspect reportedly committed the crime at Evboesi community in Orhionmwon Local Government area of the state.

The incident happened during an argument with the victim over owoh soup, a local a delicacy for eating yam, plantain and wheat peculiar to the people of Edo State.

Osemwekhe, who confessed to the crime when he was paraded with 80 other suspects by the Edo State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Foluso Adebanjo, said the deceased took from his owoh soup without his permission.

The argument reportedly degenerated into fracas, following which he cut off the victim’s hand with a machete.

The victim allegedly died a few days after from injuries he sustained from the attack.

Adebanjo disclosed that the suspect would be charged to court at the conclusion of investigation.

Investigation revealed that on the day Okorie died, he received a call from Nneoma, asking him to meet her in a five-storey hostel off Goddy Ogbaga Avenue in Abakaliki, the state capital. On getting there, it was learnt, they began to do those things that lovers do and her school boyfriend, Alex, appeared suddenly on the scene like a ghost. And the man died in the process.

Interestingly, the late Okorie, Nneoma and Alex hail from the same community.

This is particularly unbelievable with this mass hips owned by a guy. Anyway, the level of science and technology at this present age can make people reshape their selves into desired fantasy.

I guess this is also the scenario in this particular young guy whose pictures have gone viral on the internet and knocking off heads of many girls who think they got hips. Interesting his hips are more massive than of Kim and others put together.

U.S War College Says Buhari Earned Diploma

The U.S War college has affirmed that the All Progressive Congress, APC, Presidential Candidate, General Mohammadu Buhari earned a Diploma from its institution.

Carol Kerr, U.S War College Public Affairs officer in an email confirmed that Buhari was a 1980 Graduate of the institution.

It is not clear if such Diploma which was awarded for a short courses in the U.S War College is an equivalent of a School Certificate which usually takes years to complete.

30-Year-Old Son Allegedly Killed His Millionaire Father Over Allowance Cut

Thomas Gilbert Sr., a millionaire hedge fund founder from Manhattan, was discovered dead in his apartment on Sunday after allegedly being shot in the head by his son over a monetary dispute.

A source said that the elder Gilbert "had been giving [his son] $2,400 a month for rent and $600 for spending money, and he was cutting that to $400 a month for spending money."

30-year-old Gilbert Jr. arrived at the Beekman Place apartment on Sunday and allegedly ordered his mother, Shelly, to leave the building to get him a sandwich. When she returned, she discovered her husband's body with a handgun nearby.

"My husband's been shot by my son!" she told a 911 dispatcher.

Obasanjo re-ignited his anger again against the administration of President Jonathan while receiving some of the South-West women leaders at his Abeokuta residence. Obasanjo was of the opinion that Jonathan and his government has depleted the Nigeria’s oil savings which according to him was at $45billion when he left the office and had depreciated over time to $30billion.

"Our economy should not have been this bad. When I was leaving office about eight years ago, I left a very huge reserve after we had paid all our debts. Almost $25billion we kept in what they called excess crude. The excess from the budget we were saving as reserve for the rainy days. When we left in May 2007, the reserve was said to have been raised to $35billion. But today, that reserve has been depleted!

Dora Akunyili's Letter To Buhari When She Returned PTF Money In 1999

This is seemly going spiral on various websites and twitters as well as radio stations within the country and I am pulsed for a while but couldn’t help but to publish it based on the kind of characters that are required by true Leadership in this country.

It is a letter from Late Mrs Dora Akunliyi to Buhari when was still working as the Zonal Secretary (South-East) of Petroleum Trust Fund of which Buhari was the head of the trust. She sent a letter to Buhari thanking him for the financial support of £17,100 approved by him for her medical treatment.

In the letter Dora stated that she did not used the entire approved fund as she is returning some of £12,000 back to PTF as this was not required for her treatment.

A friend of mine heard this for the very first time in my car and couldn't wait few minutes before getting it downloaded to his Blackberry phone. He just fell in love with the original version and the remix.

Although there have been a lot regarding Dbanj especially in the area of his music with reference to his departure from the former Mo Hit record and long time producer. However, I appreciate the dude for making all efforts and striving to break grounds in other spheres.
