Anthony Martial's Wife Samantha Takes Swipe At Him

The French international has split with his childhood sweetheart according to reports, with Samantha taking to Instagram this week

The wife of Man United hotshot Anthony Martial has taken a swipe at him by posting pictures of her new 'family' - amid reports she has dumped him.

It has been claimed French international striker Anthony, 20, has split with blonde childhood sweetheart Samantha, 19.

Last week Samantha stopped following the £58million striker on Instagram, and he stopped following her on social media too.

But on Monday she took what appeared to be a calculated dig at him by posting a pic of her and their eight-month-old daughter Peyton by a beach - writing: "I just want to be with you for life Peyton, I just want to be a mum."

Samantha has deleted all of the pictures of herself with Anthony on her personal Instagram account, but photos of the couple's baby daughter Peyton remain.

She has continued to update her 83,000 followers with images of Peyton but Martial himself has not been seen in a snap for two weeks.

On Monday afternoon she posted the picture above of herself at the seaside with her young daughter on the photo sharing app.

 

News of the split came just hours before Martial suffered a miserable Sunday afternoon in London at White Hart Lane.

Ex-Monaco hitman Martial, who is rumoured to be homesick for France, has only mustered eight goals in all competitions for United in 26 games since his big money summer move.

Life in the UK had started rosy for the seemingly in love couple after the devout Roman Catholic was signed by United.

In September she posted a picture of her breakfast on Instagram alongside the caption: "Good morning Manchester".

She added at the time: "Babe, for me you are and will always be my best friend the best husband ever, a lovely daddy and the best player of the world."

A few days that same month she posted: "I love you my love. You are my life. We, together forever ... !!!"

But in November worried Samantha, writing in French, warned women on social media to stay away from her husband.

Explaining that if there are approximately 43.6 million Instagram accounts, around 21.8 million of the profiles were of men, she warned women to 'pass on the profile of My Man'.

Samantha posted her message alongside a picture of her kissing the Man United striker, while he was wearing oversized joke money glasses.

The former couple have young daughter Peyton together and last year he claimed he loved nothing better after training than coming home to his wife and child.
