OLYMPICS 2012: NIG. BASKETBALL TEAM LOSES TO USA TEAM

It was a game I least expected so much from the Nigerian Basketball team, especially with an opponent that is full of astonishing records, skills, experience and disciplines in the game of basketball, yet I looked forward to it.

Carmelo, Lebron and Kobe's unlimited laugh

The game was dominated by US from the beginning to the end with display of array of skills. It was later turned to a comic when the duo of Lebron James (especially) and Kobe Bryant decided to be laughing at the Team Nigeria's inexperience and average skills. Likewise, it was just like a practice session for US Team as individual player experiment his 3 point skills.

Chamberlin

The Nigeria vs. US game was history making game for both the winner and the loser as US team used Nigerian team to make Olympic history by wiping off the record set by Brazil in Soul Korea Olympic(1988) when they beat the Egyptian Basketball Team to a score of about 138 point.

Kobe

I lost touch with the game when the Nigerian team were been mocked by the US. Anyway, kudos to the Nigerian Team as they made history with the USA dream Team.

Winning Strategy: Frequent 3 point shots and Quick Recovery after losing the ball.

History Records:

·         Carmelo Anthony scored 37 points, shattering the Olympic record for points in a game
