The Receptionist Part 1

November 15th 7:00pm
It was like every usual day in Vera’s Bakery. People flowing in and out, trying to get their cakes delivered, making new orders and the happy and impatient faces waiting for their cakes. I had my plastic smile on my face, maintained the sweet tone they all liked as I took down their orders. I looked over at the clock, counting minutes, as I envisioned my bed and that glorious feeling of taking off your bra and kicking off your shoes.
‘Good evening, I want to make an order for tomorrow, here’s the order ‘ He said handing me a piece of paper.
I took my eyes away from the laptop as I stared at the good looking man right in front of me.
‘My order mam’ He said sounding impatient as he shoved the paper at me
‘Sincere apologies please‘ I said stuttering a bit. ‘Fill in your name and contact number and delivery address here’ I said giving him another piece of paper.

SHOULD I TELL MY HUSBAND THAT OUR ONLY SON DOES NOT BELONG TO HIM?

Would you confess to your husband that the son he thought belonged to him after five daughters is not his?
My name is Vivian and I have been married for 10 years now but there is a burden I have carried for over four years now and it is eating me deep inside, especially now that I have given my life to Christ.

I feel an impulsion to confess and divulge the secret to Tony, my husband. The fact is that our only son, after five daughters, does not belong to my husband. He is the result of a moment of madness I had when I was going through a lot of stress from his family who were bent on throwing me out of my home due to my inability to bear a male child for their son.

It has been an honour to manage such a magnificent club as Manchester United FC, and in doing so, I have fulfilled a long-held ambition.I am immensely proud to have helped United win the FA Cup for the 12th time in the club's history. I have been privileged during my management career to have won 20 trophies but winning the FA Cup, which is steeped in so much history, will always be one of the "..most special achievements of my career.

I am very disappointed to be unable to complete our intended three-year plan. I believe that the foundations are firmly in place to enable the club to move forward and achieve even greater success.

I hope that winning the FA Cup will give the club a platform to build upon next season to restore the success that this passionate set of fans desire."

Clinton Cash - Exposes Hilary Clinton

With only a few months to go before the US presidential election, a new documentary called – ‘Clinton Cash’ – has premiered at the Cannes film festival.
The documentary is based on the Peter Schweizer book which takes a critical look at Hillary Clinton’s family’s finances.

When the book was published in 2015, she dismissed it saying that being “subject to all kinds of distractions and attacks” was an expected part of her running for president.

The book alleges that Clinton, while serving as US Secretary of State, did favours for foreign governments and businesses that gave speaking fees to her husband, former President Bill Clinton, or money to her family’s charities.

MH17 Families Sue Russia & Putin For Compensation

An Australian law firm has reportedly filed a compensation claim against Russia and its president, Vladimir Putin, in the European court of human rights on behalf of families of victims of Malaysian Airlines flight MH17.

The jetliner crashed in Ukraine in pro-Russian rebel-held territory on 17 July, 2014, killing all 298 people on board, including 28 Australians.

The aircraft, which was en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, was shot down by a Russian-made surface-to-air missile, the Dutch Safety Board concluded in its final report late last year.
Fighting was raging in eastern Ukraine between Russian-backed separatists and Ukrainian government forces when the aircraft was downed and many western experts and governments blamed the rebels.

'All the channels of oil theft will be blocked within two years and Nigerians will witness a rich and better Nigeria'- Buhari

President Buhari said this in an interview with BBC Hausa recently.
“When as a Minister in the 70s I built Warri and Kaduna refineries together with 20 deports and several kilometers of pipe lines…Aliko Dangote is building a refinery capable of refining 650, 000 barrel a day, we are also going to repair the four refineries all these will be completed within two years.

Drinking A Beer A Day Will Help Fight Off Heart Attack

On a sunny day, there is nothing as delicious as a cool, crisp beer.
And drinking a pint a day is good for the heart, a study has found.
While binge drinking is known to harm our health, moderate consumption reduces the risk of heart and blood vessel diseases by a quarter, researchers discovered.
The team, from the IRCCS Mediterranean Neurological Institute, Pozzilli, said the alcohol and other chemicals in the drink reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke and artery disease.

They reviewed 150 studies and concluded drinking 1.4 pints or two 330ml cans protects the heart without increasing the odds of dementia or cancers, the Times reports.
One of the authors, Dr Simona Costanzo, of the IRCCS Mediterranean Neurological Institute, said it is important to note that the study found only moderate drinking has health benefits.
Excessive drinking – such as binging on a lot of alcohol at the weekend - is known to harm the body, she insisted.

THESE REPUBLICANS SAY THEY WON’T VOTE FOR DONALD TRUMP IN ELECTION

We’ve been hearing it for months: Many established Republicans won’t support Donald Trump if he becomes their party’s 2016 presidential nominee.

But after his most recent victories in six northeastern states at the end of April and his sweep in Indiana on Tuesday, the New York billionaire is fewer than 200 delegates short of earning the required 1,237 to clinch the nomination. And as of Wednesday, he’s the only remaining GOP contender in the race, after both Ted Cruz and John Kasich suspended their campaigns.

Since Tuesday night, when Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus urged the party to unite behind the real estate tycoon, several prominent Republicans have publicly said they won’t back Trump in the general election. And some have said they will skip the Republican National Convention, scheduled for July 18 through 21 in Cleveland.

Trump’s inflammatory remarks toward immigrants and women have given pause to some members of the party, while others differ on his policy stances (or lack thereof) on issues including the economy, foreign affairs and international trade, to name just a few. Led by conservative blogger Erick Erickson, a pocket of Republicans are now trying to draft a third-party candidate to prevent Trump from taking the White House. Meanwhile, a small number of established members of the party have publicly supported the presumptive nominee. Below is a look at who has said what...so far.

BUHARI TO THE WORLD: HURRY UP AND RETURN NIGERIA'S STOLEN MONEY

Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari is demanding greater international cooperation in returning hundreds of millions of dollars in Nigerian funds hidden abroad.

Buhari was elected in March 2015 on an anti-corruption ticket and has pledged to reclaim billions of dollars allegedly lost to dodgy dealings and mismanagement. The West African oil giant has endured decades of endemic corruption, with state funds being secreted abroad by public figures including ex-military ruler Sani Abacha. The late general, who led Nigeria between 1993 and his death in 1998, is suspected of looting up to $5 billion in public funds during his reign. Switzerland recently agreed to return $321 million Abacha had hidden there, though the former ruler may have stored up to $2.2 billion in European bank accounts.

Nigeria’s former oil minister Diezani Alison-Madueke is under investigation for allegedly trying to rig last year’s elections, a spokesman for the country’s anti-corruption agency said on Tuesday.

Expect To See Me At Manchester United Next Season- Van Gaal

There has been intense speculation that Van Gaal would be replaced by Jose Mourinho once the season comes to an end.
But in his most-revealing interview of the season, the United boss said: “Of course I knew how hard this job would be. That is why they hired me and we have spoken about that.
“Also, we have a process of three years. I wanted to sign for two years, they wanted three years – not me. I signed for three years, so next year you see me again.”
Van Gaal also believes United could have been on the brink of winning the Premier League title – not today’s opponents Leicester – if his squad had not been so hard hit by injuries.
When asked if United would challenge for the league title next season and be in a similar position to the one Leicester are now, Van Gaal said: “You can never say that.
