JOSE MOURINHO: CHELSEA OUT OF EPL TITLE RACE

José Mourinho has written off Chelsea's chances of regaining the Premier League title and publicly questioned his players' attitude and "mentality" after his side slipped to defeat at Crystal Palace.

John Terry's own goal proved decisive as Palace beat these opponents for the first time in the league in 24 years, with Chelsea's second successive away defeat handing the initiative firmly to Manchester City and Liverpool in the title race. City, however, failed to move to the top of the Premier League after Saturday's 1-1 draw against Arsenal.

Odemwingie Secures Win For Stoke

Peter Odemwingie continued his fine goalscoring form as Stoke recorded their third successive victory with a 1-0 triumph over Hull at the Britannia Stadium.
Odemwingie struck in the 62nd minute, firing in from the edge of the box after collecting the ball from a stray Ahmed Elmohamady pass to register his fourth goal in three games, and fifth since joining the Potters from Cardiff in January.

The hosts had earlier been indebted to their goalkeeper Asmir Begovic when he kept out a David Meyler shot that had taken a wicked deflection, and in the first half Hull defender Liam Rosenior failed to make the most of a good chance.

Overall, though, Stoke were good value for a Barclays Premier League win that takes them to 40 points for the campaign with six more games to go.

THE NOISY NEIGBOURS TAKING OVER MANCHESTER

Back in the days they were usually regarded as the noisy neighbor when it comes to the game of Football. Not until the Alex Ferguson left the noisy neighbor, Manchester City, suddenly became the real neighbor and a neighbor that not only makes noise but create remarkable impacts in term of victories in the English Premier League (EPL).

With the their home and away victories (back to back) over their most competitive rival and neighbor, Manchester United, City has gradually established their stand in Manchester to their neighbor and fans that they are not in Manchester for noisy making but for Premiership champion.

The name Manchester City now sends fear and fever through the spines of Manchester team and their fans. City has suddenly become a bone that is tie to the neck of a dog and can’t be eaten by the dog or other dogs. Unlike before, they are no longer the underdog but the dog manager.

The big question is: Is Moyes ripe enough to take Manchester United to its known glory?

PLEASE DISREGARD MY SICKNESS RUMOUR–DORA AKUNYILI

Some weeks ago, there were rumours that former Director General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration Control Nigeria (NAFDAC), Professor Dora Akunyili was sick and was being treated in the United States of America (USA) for an undisclosed illness.

Few days ago, pictures of the ex-Minister of Information and Communications hit the internet and she was not looking as she used to be before.

However, Professor Dora and her husband, Chike Akunyili have now debunked the speculations and have also warned that such information should be disregarded by the public.

In a recent post on her Facebook page, captioned ‘I AM WELL, FIT AND READY FOR THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE’, Professor Akunyili said, “My Dear Friends, My attention has been drawn to a story making the rounds online claiming that I am seriously sick, currently out of the country and in need of urgent prayers.

“This story is baseless, unfounded and the handiwork of mischief makers. It should be ignored and discarded in its entirety. As every informed Nigerian knows, I am a Delegate to the National Conference currently holding in Abuja. I was duly accredited as a Delegate and I am currently in attendance at the National Judicial Institute, Abuja, and venue of the conference.

“While it is true that I recently came out of a major sickness, for which I thank Almighty God for delivering me, I have since been declared fit by my doctors and returned to my normal activities. I shed much weight in the course of the sickness – which is normal – but I am well now and only need time to re-grow some flesh. There is nothing to worry about either my health or my present stature.

“I know that God has kept me alive for a purpose, this National Conference being part of that purpose. For the avoidance of doubt, I am well now, fit, strong enough and ready for this all-important National Conference and I look forward to collaborating with other delegates to chart the way for a better Nigeria.

“I thank all my friends for their love and prayers. May Almighty God bless and reward you.“

DAVID MOYES WARNS MANUEL PELLEGRINI: MANCHESTER UNITED WILL BE TOP DOGS AGAIN

David Moyes has responded to Manuel Pellegrini’s declaration that Manchester City are the top club in the city, warning ahead of tonight’s derby that the Chilean risks hubris and that Manchester United’s time will come again.
United go into the meeting 12 points adrift of their rivals in the Premier League – a level of superiority City have not enjoyed over United on a derby day for 36 years – and City midfielder Fernandinho  stoked the fires by declaring he was surprised how easy to beat a poor United had been earlier this season.

But United manager Moyes offered the kind of retort to his counterpart Pellegrini’s observation the club’s fans will be looking for, after consecutive wins which offer fragile signs of hope. “Well, Manchester United had lots and lots of seasons of domination,” Moyes said when questioned about comments Pellegrini first made last month and on which he elaborated yesterday.

However, with brilliant and all attacking goal seeking mission they were able to surpass and managed the Olympiacos with 3 goal advantage to qualify for the next round of Champions League competition.

According to Moyes there’s no reason the team can’t go on to lift the Champions League trophy in Lisbon this May.

MANCHESTER UNITED FANS DESERVE BETTER

Manchester United forward Juan Mata admits he was "mad" he was not able to give fans what they deserved in the defeat to Liverpool.
Sunday's 3-0 loss at Old Trafford stood out not only for the visitors underlining their credentials as Premier League title challengers, but also United's inability to compete against their north-west rivals.

But even after the final whistle, large pockets of supporters remained to voice their support for the team and Mata said he was disappointed the players could not match that level of performance.
"There are no words to describe your support in the stadium," he wrote in his personal online blog.
"In games like yesterday it makes me mad not being able to give you what you deserve.
"I know there is nothing I can say right now but at least I want you to know how I feel."

HER LIFE WAS CHANGED BY MARIAH CAREY- SANAA HAMRI

(CNN) -- Music video and film director Sanaa Hamri moved to New York with dreams of making it big as an actress. But like so many others, she found herself struggling through endless auditions and unemployment. Born worlds away in the town of Tangier, Morocco, Hamri wasn't afraid to fight back. She'd grown up in a traditionally male-dominated society and her rebellion against gender stereotypes had helped put her on this creative career path.

Refusing to give up, she changed tact finding work with a post production company. She was soon noticed by cinematographer Malik Sayeed who, in turn, introduced her to Mariah Carey.
And with the famous singer's guidance, Hamri embarked on a new, highly successful, career trajectory, leaving her mark on the entertainment industry.

Hamri went on to direct numerous high-profile music videos as well as three feature films and several episodes of popular TV shows like "Desperate Housewives" and "Glee." Here she reveals to CNN what's like to collaborate with entertainment royalty like Lenny Kravitz or Nicki Minaj while achieving success among the stars in Tinseltown.

Embrace your heritage. "I'm a product of a multicultural union of my father who is and was Moroccan and my mother who is American," says Hamri. "So I was able to grow in a household that had both. I very much identify as a Moroccan woman because I was born and raised there. My father's Moroccan and I went to school there so that is home to me."
Education is vital. Hamri's mother, Blanca taught at the American School of Tangier and she credits the establishment with providing opportunities that others in her neighborhood didn't have. "The memory of it for me is education was something that was a gift that you have to take advantage of," she explains.

Minority director tackles tough issues

Rebellion can ignite a journey you'd never contemplated before. "I would look around and I would see all of these men in the cafes and on the streets and I would think to myself, 'I can be just like that and do whatever I want to do as you do.' Just because I'm of a different gender, that doesn't mean I can't drive, I can't rule, I can't think, I can't create."

Dr Sid and Don Baba kill this song in all aspect you could think of

SURULERE…could simply be described as patient is rewardful. That is, if one takes thing easy, focus, steadfast and not using others’ people as the major yardsticks for his/her life and success he/she will surely make something meaningful out of life.

Don’t let be because your mates and friends are making things happening in and around you, you decided to do things that could lead you to prison or affect your life negatively as well as the life of others around you.

Surulere is a niece song with good concept and message that people could pick one or two advice from. However, Surulere is an area in Lagos State of Nigeria where majority of the boys in the hoods are not acting according to the name of this district.

CONRAD MURRAY- BACK IN MEDICAL BUSINESS

Conrad Murray now has a chance to improve his success record in treating patients ... because he's back in business.
TMZ has learned the patients this time around will be children with heart problems.  Murray has taken a gig with the Trinidad Ministry of Health, where he'll be consulting with local heart surgeons.

Murray won't get rich off the new job -- he's volunteering his services, but it's definitely a foot in the door.  His medical license has been revoked in Texas and suspended in California and Nevada.
The government wants Murray to use his U.S. contacts to help hook up the sick kids.
Truth be told ... Murray was a successful cardiologist in the U.S. ... beloved by many of his patients.  Only one blemish on his record ... you know ...

BUFFALO TOPS FORBES LIST OF AMERICA'S 21 MOST LOW-COST CITIES

It's not often that Buffalo, New York state's 'Queen City', claims the top spot on a national scale.
But it has been ranked as the most affordable city in America, according to Forbes, which used data that included income, housing prices and everyday expenses to put together a top 21.
The cost of house prices was the most crucial in the study, with the magazine using an index from the National Association of Home Builders and Wells Fargo to measure how far residents' money could go toward buying a place to live.
New York City and Honolulu were found to be the most overpriced cities in the country.

'With a median family income of $63,500 and a median home sales price of $100,000, home ownership (in Buffalo) is attainable for 88.5 percent of the local population,' Forbes writer Erin Carlyle noted.
Median indicates half of the homes sold for more, and half sold for less than that amount.
The same applies to income: Half earned more than that amount, and half earned less.

LOTUS ENTERS MOTORCYCLE BUSINESS WITH STUNNING "HYPER BIKE"

Ever since firing its CEO Dany Bahar in June 2012 and reporting a near $200 million loss, Lotus has sought to find solid footing. One way the British marque planned to achieve this was by entering the motorcycle business, promising to deliver a Lotus "hyper bike," built by German race team Kodewa and the Holzer Group, by the turn of the year.

And here it is, the Lotus C-01. A true stunner that isn't really a Lotus at all.

The storied sports car maker has become more of a branding company than the automotive innovator it once was, enlisting others to do the heavy lifting while licensing the Lotus name for the sheet metal. This was evident in the 2010 IndyCar season, slapping Lotus logos on the carbon body that covered the Honda powerplant (they did enter an engine in 2012, although I'm not sure Lotus wants to be reminded of that). In Formula One, the Lotus F1 team is powered by Renault, and according to Lotus' most recent press release, the C-01 bike "is not designed, engineered or produced by Group Lotus" at all.

A bogus bride was caught minutes before she could tie the knot with her fourth husband.
Raquel Neto Furtado De Andrade had already married three Nigerians to help give them the right to stay in Britain.

Thought to be one of the country’s most prolific sham brides, she is now behind bars serving a two-year sentence.
She will be deported to her native Portugal on her release from prison.

THE MOST COMMON JOB INTERVIEW QUESTIONS -- AND HOW TO ANSWER THEM

Got an interview coming up? The best thing that you can do to prepare is to think through the questions you're likely to be asked and formulate answers ahead of time. Here are the seven most common interview questions, along with what a strong answer will look like.

1. "Tell me about yourself." This question means "give me a broad overview of who you are, professionally speaking, before we dive into specifics." You should prepare about a one-minute answer that summarizes where you're at in your career and what you're especially good at, with an emphasis on your most recent job. Keep your personal life out of it; your interviewer isn't asking to hear about your family, hobbies or where you grew up.

2. "What interests you about this job?" Your answer here should focus on what about the substance of the role most interests you. You should not talk about benefits, salary, the short commute or anything else unrelated to the day-to-day work you'd be doing, or you'll signal that you're not particularly enthusiastic about the work itself. Interviewers want to hire people who have carefully considered whether this is a job they'd be glad to work at every day, and that means focusing on the work itself, not what the job can do for you.
